The Terrace Park Recreational Soccer program is open to children ages 4 and older. Please note that we use age, not school grade, to determine whether children are eligible for participation in the program. This is a recreational soccer program, meaning that teams are open to anyone who wishes to play. There are no try-outs or cuts for Terrace Park Recreational Soccer.
The instructional program is for 4, 5 and 6 year olds. The teams in this program are coed, and all games be against the other teams in the Terrace Park instructional program. The emphasis in this program is introducing the kids to soccer and having fun while learning the game. The teams will practice on one weekday night and have Saturday morning games on Stanton Field. The program in run during September and October.
The recreational program will field teams for boys and for girls at the U8, U10, and U12 age levels. These teams will compete in the Cincinnati Hills SAY league and compete against other teams in the league. The Hills SAY league consists of soccer programs from: Terrace Park, Mariemont, Madeira, Indian Hill, Eastgate, Deer Park, St. Vincent Ferrer, and Reading.
The U8, U10, and U12 program will have separate boys and girls teams. Each team will have two separate one hour proactices on weekdays, a 10 game regular season, and an end of season tournament. The season will run from late August to early November.
